Go to a school that cares about their kids safety. Their busing policies are idiotic. A student can live 2 miles away by means of road/public routes and be denied bus services if they are in a one mile radius from the flag pole at the elementary even if the kids go to the Intermediate school.My kids are also showing signs of lapsing on what they already know coming form a different state. The curriculum is not very challenging to the students. This school district needs to get out of the 1980's.

I love this school/district. Both of my kiddos have gone here and they love it!!

I was frustrated with the Sheridan School District because, due to my learning disability and IEP in English, I wasn’t allowed to take my English class online even though other students could. That forced me to attend school in person for just one class. If I had stayed, I wouldn’t have been able to take the classes I needed or graduate on time. I also felt blamed for “lack of communication,” even though my advisory teacher rarely reached out. After spending my whole life in this district, it’s sad that I couldn’t graduate with my class and had to switch schools instead. I still don’t understand why I was treated differently when other students were allowed to finish online without any issues.

As someone who attends at this school I would not recommend this school because some of the staff and teachers don’t really care about the students or there mental health Also if your child has any special needs I would definitely not recommend this school they tend to get more aggressive or aggravated for students with special needs because they have to spend more time working with them also if you are someone who cares about a clean healthy I would not recommend this school because there is a lot of roaches and rats in the gym and the school is really small and not good also this school is very strict which is a good thing but it has a lot of uncertainty rules so if you are moving into the area of Sheridan I would not recommend this school there are some way better schools around or about 20 to 30 minutes away from Sheridan such as Poyen and Whitehall.
