"Most of Lumberton is very middle class. It doesnโ€™t feel very โ€œneighborlyโ€ but it also doesnโ€™t feel dangerous by any means. Lots of kids at the park but also some litter, loitering, etc. Itโ€™s not very pretty here but there seems to be some effort to improve that. "
  • Nnekatull
"Unfortunately, not really. The neighboring towns are typically the ones that organize most of the community events, such as festivals, farmers' markets, and parades. They offer a variety of activities that bring residents together, while our town tends to have fewer gatherings throughout the year."
  • Emckenna28
"Lumberton offers lots of options for highway access and main roads. public transportation is also readily available. Personally, my commute is very short. When I lived a bit further away I found that the main roads were quite congested at 5:00 and I would wait at many traffic lights. "
  • Emckenna28
"People walk their dogs often. It seems like many neighbors have dogs. The park has dog waste bags available and special trash cans. When someone else is walking their dog they are courteous of you and your dog. "
  • Charlieh
"Is ok. Highway get you places within like 1 hour you can be in Philly or New York or the shore. For work lots of place to drive to. You must have a car to live here nothing real close by. Lots of retail and store nearby. Driving hear is less connected then the cities. "
  • Charlieh
"Quite spread out good for walks and not really far from city life. Water is expensive. Everyone is nice "
  • Chepapu28

  • Tweaver322
"The majority of people are mindful of their pets and respectful. But, there is a neighbor that knowingly lets their dogs roam the neighborhood and all three of them ended up attacking my mother and her dog while they were on a walk, leaving them with an enormous amount of pain and medical bills. "
