My kids go to wood school. Since 2012, 2023 and now 2025, I believe the school is wonderful, clean, and very safe. Teachers are awesome and answer questions, their very kind to the kids, when it comes to learning has a lot to do with each individual kid, plus parents aren't involved and use the school as a daycare, if you kids aren't learning that is on the parents more than the teachers. Manners come from home and not school so its not the teachers fault, but they do great dealing with so many different personalities . The principal is wonderful and always monitors the safety of the children, i love wood school and their doing what they can with resources provided by the district. Sadly AZ ranks so low in education due to a lack of funding, yet wood has done a wonderful job with the kids and I'm really thankful for everything they have done .

Terrible, as an 8th grader, this school is a bad choice. Some girls like drama, I’ll admit I do too, but this school is too much drama. You will most likely get into fights, the girls are very rude and mostly all of the kids are disrespectful. The teachers don’t really care that much and a lot of them are people you don’t really look forward to seeing. Save yourselves the trouble and don’t go here!!!

As a parent, I was very disappointed with our experience at this school. Over the four years our child attended, we did not feel they received the academic support they needed. Communication was also a recurring issue — in our experience, the counselor, Claudia, was often difficult to reach and follow-up frequently required multiple emails or contacting the front office.It also seemed that academic performance and intervention for struggling students were not prioritized consistently. We felt there was a stronger focus on maintaining comfort and flexibility than on accountability and educational progress.
