"this area is close to public transportation dart rails and buses lyft and uber pick up quickly and it is surrounded by many major highways and easily accessible to different cities around the metroplex "

"nothing, it's shooting almost every night followed by ambulance sound. I'm tired of it!!! We need our children to be safe at home, walking to and from school, and in their yards while they are playing. We don't need stray bullets nor stray dogs to harm our children. "

"The crime rates are going up in this area. It is no longer safe for people. People steal and get killed all the time. It is ridiculous."

"I grew up close enough to this area to know it was a place to avoid... it has had a reputation for trouble but the police and neighbors have really worked hard to rid this area of the negative activity. I have lived here 3 years with my 2 kids and feel safer here than in most parts of Mesquite where I grew up. Now days it is more important to be involved with your childrens daily challenges than it is to pass judgement on the surrounding area. The richer the area, the more money people have to use on drugs, weapons, etc."
