My child is a kindergarten student & he absolutely loves going to school everyday. He adores his teacher, she treats him with so much kindness & patience. Mrs. Barrett is just the sweetest. All of the staff we have encountered thus far have been wonderful. Mr. Davino stands out as a very dedicated principal who is exceptionally passionate about every student getting a quality education & being treated fairly along the way. There is an abundance of resources available to all students and their families to help combat any barriers along the way. The school’s use of positive reinforcement encourages each student to be proud of themselves & build their confidence. We could not be happier with the elementary school we’ve chosen for our first child. Knowing they treat our baby with kindness & fairness has helped us ease into this new chapter of life.

Just appalling... The St Lucie County school system is broken. So happy that I can work 2 jobs and send my child to private school. No opportunity for advanced learning and the gifted program is a joke. It is all about the money the county gets for the school - If you r child is smart, apply for a scholarship for one of the private schools.. Really a travesty for the next generation. Shame on you St Lucie County,, Step up!

As a teacher, it’s truly refreshing to work in a school where student engagement, support, and safety are more than just buzzwords—they’re lived values. Classroom engagement is a top priority here, and it’s amazing to see students actively participating, asking questions, and taking ownership of their learning. Chester A. Moore Elementary (CAM) has the best staff and administrators! The moment you walk in, it is evident that this is a caring place, greeted with friendly smiles and welcoming attitudes. When I talk to the teachers they say, 'This is the best place to work' - the teachers feel supported, and their happiness is reflected in the classroom. CAM has the hardest working, humble, and passionate teachers; they focus on every student’s individual needs and safety. The CAM family takes the time to know your child. It is a joyful place where kids are nurtured and seen, where individuals are appreciated and honored for the unique contributions they make to the community. Chester A. Moore Elementary is truly a school where excellence is believed and achieved by all.

I currently go to this school and it is honestly not that bad as people say it is. Everybody is generally accepting of others, and it’s pretty easy to make friends especially if you are in an extracurricular. The teachers are good at their job, you just gotta pay attention and listen.

Pathetic school made me switch 5 classes while I’m supposed to be in only 1 class and have the audacity to say that I’m inexperienced I guess everyone is inexperienced because of changing classes everytime I did what I’m supposed to do

As a community member, I see that the staff and administrators at Parkway are phenomenal with the students. They work tirelessly to help student a make gains and build in social-emotional time to help counteract the negative ascents of bullying. They teach see something, say something. They also use social emotional time to have emotional check is with students and validate their feelings. Lessons from Sanford Harmony are provided for each grade level to help build a single school culture. Great things are happening and academic gains are being made. It is taking time, but it is happening. Don’t discount this school, it’s staff, and especially it’s students.

If you love your child do not have them attend this school. Office front are rude and nasty, don't want to help, never know anything mentally. Drugs are passed around to students with on site police, staff, and teachers with no knowledge as to where there coming from. Subject teachers are often absent and substitute teachers have no idea what to teach or how to control the students while in class. Bus drivers are late picking up and dropping off students often. It's just an all around mess.

this is a wonderful school,i am very pleased with all areas and staff and i must add that mr. hitsman the principal is the greatest,he truley cares for every child and their family's as well. I can not say enough about him he is so wonderful,and i am blessed my only son and two nieces have the opportunity to be under his and his staff's care, it is truly and honer. I can only wish my son ron will be as great of a man he is one day!! And his teacher ms. Barnet is the greatest as well she truly has impacted and is so very dedicated to all of her students!!!
