Hillcrest Elementary has loving, nurturing, caring teachers who are willing to do what it takes to help students achieve high standards. They have a great after school tutoring program for students who may be struggling. The classrooms are small, which allows more one on one teaching for students. We are staffed with highly qualified teachers who gives much of their time to students as well as the community.

My three kids have went to the school for two years now. They have been bullied by other kids yet the principal and supt never do anything about it, yet when my kids stand up for themselves they get in trouble. This school works on the "good ol boy" system, if you've got a big name you've got it made but if not, they have nothing for you.They focus more on basketball than school.And if you have a child that has to go to a doctor often for medical issues the resource officer will not accept doctors notes but will file a truancy case on you in court when your child misses 10 days total.
