These educators are some of the best, most caring people I have met. My children have become better humans in part because of all of them. 4 years & every single teacher is a pleasure to have as my child's nurturer. Their awesome & fearless leader Mrs Clark is the candle on this multi level cake. You should be blessed to have these great souls guide your children

maybe don't block every single music website??? kids with 504 plans require those.... blocking multiple websites just to insure kids "have a better learning experience" doesn't really seem fair. y'all are just making the school more strict and boring for kids. kids here already find many ways to watch videos and play games, so y'all's efforts don't work either way?? yall are making the school a miserable place to be.

My child is not yet in Middle school, but I have friends with middle schoolers as well as friends with new high schoolers. My impression is that the middle school is doing a wonderful job of preparing the kids for high school and I've observed middle schoolers being given the opportunity to participate in high school level courses and activities, when advanced skill is shown. I will be excited to see how my own child will perform in this school.

This is the worst school I have ever worked at. The administration is ridiculously incompetent. The school counselor Larry Owens proselytizes to students and sits on his phone all day, but he'll never be reprimanded or fired because his daughter married the principal's husband's brother and is therefore the great-uncle of the principal's children who attend the district. Nepotism? Yes. Paraprofessionals are rude and incapable. Students are lazy and disruptive behavior is ignored and even encouraged at times. DO NOT TAKE A JOB HERE! The district has no regard for the establishment clause/separation of church and state and has committed serious violations of the ADA. If you value your sanity and the laws of the land, apply to Decatur or Alvord instead. It's at times hard to fathom what makes the staff and students act so insane at Boyd. It's probably something in the water.
