One of the worst schools I’ve encountered, first year my child attended he was in kender the bus driver let him off at the wrong address luckily a fed ex driver was able to help him locate where he lived. The teachers at the school have no compassion for theirs jobs what so ever they write children off based off other teachers experiences with them. As teachers and educators they should be promoting and positively encouraging our next generation of excellence. It’s sad we need to do better for them!

"Good amount of parks with playgrounds. Close to everything you may need. Have to drive out further for fun stuff to do, but Lancaster is quiet and has good schools. "

"Where I’m living elementary is right up the street convenient and school buses drops off the older kids during the time where other kids are located and it’s traffic I feel a little safe for my son to walk home from school when I’m still at work"

"There are a lot of kids in the neighborhood but there is a park at Rolling Hills elementary that is gated but accessible and it’s a park off Beltline. Some motorists ignore the school zones "

"Lancaster feels like a small country town, as opposed to a suburb of Dallas. But you're still in Dallas County, with only a 15-20 minute drive to downtown, Deep Ellum or the Design District."

"This city is a nice, family-friendly community. Lancaster may be a city of 38,000 that has experienced significant growth, but it is still "small town" at heart. There's lots of recreational opportunities and events throughout the year. In twenty years of living here, I've never felt unsafe. Most neighborhoods are very nice and quiet."

"It’s quiet and peaceful here. Not a lot of dogs or cats reside in this area, but the ones that do are stray. There is a park less than 10 minutes nearby that allows pet walking, but you must clean up after your pet. "
