We've never had any kind of problem with property damage/theft, etc. I don't feel unsafe walking at night and our neighbors are terrific. It may not be the "prettiest" neighborhood, but its at least safe. Also kid friendly and pet friendly. And for the Chicagoland area the taxes are reasonable."
