"I live in this area pretty nice to live in but the neighbors are kind of nosy but overall not a bad place to live"
  • Rebeccannbush
"Some people in this neighborhood let there dogs run free. Alot of stay cats are in the neighborhood, as well as raccoons and skunks. "
  • Colemarsh22
"Need a car to commute to anywhere. No train or bus stations located in town or nearby. Can walk in town for access to things"
  • Terryfratti
"Commute to city is long and very busy but do not go that way much I like living in small town with no public transportation."
  • Conversegirlie
"People tend to walk their dogs a lot during the day, but dogs aren’t allowed at the apartment building"
  • hanp86
"i have lived here for 11yrs and seen so much drugs and alcoholism in this town. the theft rate is so high, the herion use is one of the highest in all the local towns. the schools are the worst for learning or sports. just look around and you can see for your self, ask local people from coalcity they will tell you the same. theres a bar on every corner in town, do you want your kids to grow up in that. look at the locals they are filthy 60% of the people here dont work they sell drugs or on welfare. I wont be here very much longer iam moving in the next 6 months out of this town. people do your research. i tell everybody i come intact with about this town as much as i can. good luck."
  • czone2000 b.
"Wilmington is a friendly area, focused on creating a safe and family friendly environment for everyone. The schools focus on improvement every year, the sports programs are second to none, and they have Catholic and protestant schools to choose from too. One hour from the city, and 2 minutes from one of the most beautiful parks in all of Northern Illinois. Great place to call home!"
  • Musiclady420
"Being that there is not much in the area to shop at and there is no night life it is an okay location. I rated it high for raising a family with kids but there is not much to do there for nightlife. We went to a bar in Wilmington, IL to check it out and it was like a honky-tonk. We also had someone pick a fight with us while we were there. This guy just came up to my fiance and was like you were pointing at me and tried to start a fight. So, this is why we are deciding on another area to live. The people there are rude. It's an okay place if you want a fight or become a recluse in your house!"
