The school admin, staff and teachers are trying! But it's a difficult situation, with too many students and not enough space or teachers. I think the culture of the place will change a lot next year, for the better, when the new school opens and relieves the numbers problem some. In spite of it all, by kids had a great experience, with excellent teachers and amazing extracurricular activities, and now are in excellent colleges thanks to the hard work of the HHS faculty and staff!

The school has been amazing to work with. We've been through learning disabilities, speech therapy, dealing with bullying, and dealing with mental health issues, and through it all the school has been amazingly supportive and willing to work with us to find a lasting solution. The diversity is amazing, and test scores can't effectively measure the learning my children are doing in terms of what it means to be a citizen in a diverse world. I can't imagine sending my kids to any other elementary school, period.

This school has caused me to have the worst school year of my life. It's understaffed, there's no punishment, and there's no structure. There is a fight at least everyday. My parents had a meeting with the principal and they promised I would have weekly meetings with my counselor, join the book club they offered in the beginning of the year to make new and better connections, and helping backstage for the spring play and none of these things have happened.
