    "The schools are some of the most underperforming in Bakersfield, the parks are overran by homeless, the drug abusers will steal anything they can get their hands on (including my front porch bench and my lawn sprinkler.) The streets are like an obstacle course between avoiding pot holes and pedestrians running out in front of you. The rent is cheap though, so that’s cool. "

    "My husband love this area. The only issue we have had is when the weather gets warm they go through ours vehicles. So make sure I keep them lock. We don’t keep nothing of value in the vehicles so we do t worry a lot about it. Where we live most of the homes are rentals and they take pride in keep the grass cut. It’s funny the homeowners that live I. There home here let there yard go. Great area to live."

    "The tweekers. You’re never alone there is always one behind a tree or in a dumpster if you don’t check inside of your vehicle before you get into it you might surprise one. Usually nice people just want some money or a candy bar and if you have it just give it to them you will make a friend and always know the business in the neighborhood 😂"
