WPES and the entire district is solid. It's a school that, by law, educates ALL students that walk thru its doors; not just select students. Its demographics provide a challenge that many area schools do not encounter, but the students are leaning in a friendly environment where failure is not an option. Our children attended there and received great educations and went on to be successful in college and in their professional careers.

The school has a very toxic student-body

I'm a 8th grader that came into the school in January. I hate this school so much. the kids don't even talk to you even if your trying to become there friends. the teachers are okay but science and social studies teachers make it pretty boring. the kids make fun of you a lot every single day. even if your in track trying to have fun, they still make fun of you, you would think you wouldn't in a sport. there just trying to make you feel bad so you quit. the coaches only put me in one meet bc there do it on favorites and they hated me so much that i just quit besides i got injured and couldn't run anymore. all of the teachers go on favorites not just the coaches the whole school it's terrible.
