Description

This property is being leased by the owner who had to move due to a job relocation. The family loves the home and the property and chose to lease it until they are able to relocate to the area (5+ years) because they know they will never be able to find such a unique and beautiful home for their family.

The home is located in Maple Bluff Subdivision off of Sunnyside Road just south of 75th Street. This home was built during the late 1800's and is truly a sight to behold. Located on approximately 3 acres of heavily wooded ground, you have all the benefits of living in town with the benefits of a VERY private lot.

Inside, the home has recently been completely restored and is in fabulous condition. For this reason, the owners have decided that there are to be no pets allowed except for service animals. There is a 3.5 car garage on the property as well as backyard that looks like it was taken from a magazine.

The first floor includes a kitchen, dining room, parlor, family room, library and a half bath. Separated by an enclosed breezeway, you will find what used to be the summer kitchen and is now a 1st floor master or office area with a full bathroom including double sinks. There is also a large walk-in closet with customizable shelving.

On the second floor, you will find 3 very spacious bedrooms rooms and a huge full bathroom that includes both a linen closet and a triple door closet along with double sinks.

On the third floor, one of the most intriguing spaces exists. This finished space includes 3 separate areas. The largest area is ideal for one or two beds. There is a separate sitting area at the top of the stays. There is also a full bath including a large bathtub. This could be a private master suite, or a large loft style room for several children.

There is also a basement in which you get to see how soundly this home was built with a hand-placed stone foundation. In the basement, there is plenty of room for an additional bedroom, a play room, and a storage room that includes all the necessary shelving.

The real treat to this pristine property is the property itself. The home sits atop a hill that backs up to woods on 3 sides. The woods fall into a ravine that leads to Indian Creek and are teaming with wildlife. If you only see one deer a day on the property, you'll be disappointed. There are often 6 or 7 deer in the yard at a time.

Call or email to schedule an appointment. There will be a quick background check performed on anyone wishing to rent this home. Prior to approval, income verification will be required.

Don't hesitate because you will not be able to find another property in Indianapolis like this!

Lease is $2,495 per month for a fully furnished home.
