Dansville CSD Primary School has an administration that concerns themselves with budget needs only and has little concern for their students. Under no circumstances should any parent enroll their special needs child in this school. The teaching staff and paraprofessionals are caring and advocate for all of their students but are constantly meet resistance from the administration and ONE licensed Speech Language Pathologist for the district. Furthermore, the SLP has been removed from giving services in the Primary School. This of course begs the question of how you can give services to any child when you are not allowed to have contact with them and advocate to reduce therapy time for the students. Who does that as a person who has chosen a career to help students? The point is, avoid this district if you can, but if you can't seek legal counsel for anything you do with this school.
