I went to this school as a sophomore in 2011 and I got expelled for something so little. But now we are in 2023 and this schools faculty does not care anymore. There is no punishments for the fights, for the drugs. There is absolutely no punishment for the bad behavior at school. These kids smoke and do drugs on campus and as a concerned parent of my child making poor decisions at school they did nothing to help me keep my kid away from it. I tried independent studies, I tried a transfer, I’ve tried talking to the dean, I’ve tried calling head of administration and nothing I get nothing. Independent studies is too full, apparently wanting to transfer my son for behavior problems isn’t a good enough reason to transfer him. They no longer have iss. The school system is a joke. When a dean can laugh in your face and say oh kids smoke here all the time. That’s a problem!

This school is worst of the worst! Teachers don’t care about their students. The kids and administration are all bullies. Administration is a joke, everyone in administration is related or connected somehow so if you complain about anything they all come after you to make it hard for you and your child. Please avoid this school theres really nothing that motivates kids and parents here. Your kids will either be bullies or be bullied and the teachers will sweep it all under the rug.

This is for the Subaru boys and Girls club staff, notregular school office . But the boys and girls club is still on this school campus am writing this review as a concerned parent regarding how a safety incident involving my first-grade son was handled at the Boys & Girls Club program at Subaru Elementary.On Tuesday, April 21st, my son was knocked down by an older student who is several grades above him during after-school program time. He came home with a scraped knee and reported that after the incident, the student spoke to him in a disrespectful way, telling him “Don’t speak” and “That’s what I thought,” and also threatened to slam him to the floor.After this happened, my son became upset, isolated himself, and cried because he felt scared and embarrassed in front of other children.I reported the incident immediately, but several days passed without meaningful action being taken. I was told the situation had not yet been addressed and that staff were busy with other matters. There were delays in addressing the situation, and I was concerned about the lack of urgency given that this involved physical contact, verbal threats, and a younger child being involved with an older student.As a parent, my biggest concern is safety and proper supervision. Incidents involving physical harm and threats should be handled quickly and seriously, especially when younger children are involved.I hope leadership reviews how this situation was handled and ensures that future safety concerns are addressed promptly and professionally so that all children feel safe and protected.
