My son is a current student and my daughter was a former student of this remarkable educational establishment. I have also volunteered at Hedgesville Elementary and I have seen first hand at how well all of the students were treated. Everyone has a smile and a wonderful greeting when passing in the halls. The principal is always smiling and cheerful. She takes time to communicate promptly and makes you feel welcome. I am filled with admiration and pride to know that every child is treated with kindness and compassion and will no doubt receive the best education possible. If I could give 10 stars I would without missing a beat. Sincerely,Erik Blanchfield.

"Stayed for five days. Friendly and quiet area. Not a whole lot to do. Needs to drive 30 minutes to shopping area such as Martinsburg and Berkley Spring."

"quiet country town away from alot of places...nearest grocery store is like 20-30 minutes away. Not easy to get into all areas in winter months...aAlot of animals and wildlife ( deer, foxes, possums) around. Beautiful in summer & fall months"
