I graduated from North High School in 1961; was co-class historian; was a Horace Mann honor student; and was accepted at Kalamazoo College in Michigan, graduating in 1965.

I can see they removed all reviews on FB that shine any negative light one them. While our kids largely had minimal issues with safety this incident has changed my view on RES being a "good" school. We had an awful experience with my child being grabbed by the throat and was choked!!! I called the school the next day, they never called me on the day the assault happened, like they were trying to sweep it under a rug. I was very saddened when my daughter, in tears, told me how another student assaulted her. It has effected her and still to this day she will cry about it. I called the school asking what they planned to do to ensure my children are safe from harm and what punishment will be for the child who assaulted my daughter and they told me "that's confidential". Do not send your kids here. The staff are negligent and I do not trust them to keep my kids safe from being harmed.

Terrible. I would not recommend any parent send their child here with the current administration.

My son started kindergarten this year and he loves it! I love when you walk into the school you feel welcomed and everyone greets you with a smile. All schools should be like this one.
