response to review dated 3/3/14. My four adopted grandchildren, ages 5-11,, attend Poth elementary and junior high. All my children had difficulty adopting to new situations due to their young age. The previous Poth elementary and present principal along with the teachers had made hard and challenging situations easy and smooth.The key word is communication throughout the school year. I never had to addressed the same concern twice. My grandchildren had attended Poth for the last 3 years.

My children went to Poth and academically they surpass most of the surrounding schools. However their administration is very poor. Thank goodness we have many teachers who truly care about the kids. It could be so much better.

This school is great but it is affected by the STAAR preparation although it is a fantastic school and divided at some point the kids are respectful but remember this is like any other school it is divided in some aspects others its unlike schools as they still have god in it so if you dont like a great texas school then dont go here
