    "I have lived in this area for 30 years. It is a very relaxed, friendly area. A large homeschooling community, and local entertainment in the way of festivals and musical venues. It is also a great area for hunters, especially hog and during Dove season. Has great local farmer's markets, and abundant local food resources. There are several parks in the area, the Bigfoot, Pearsall, Devine and Lytle parks. There are many local mom's/homeschool groups that have park days and field trips. There is also the local Bigfoot Museum which is a great storehouse of local history. "
