"This is a rural community and you must have a car to live in this area. There is no public transportation. "
  • Vanessa W.
"No dog parks in the area. People are a little frightened of other dogs. And very judgmental of pit bulls (no I don’t have a pit)"
  • Princess_fide
"The school system may not have a high rating on the site but it’s great. There are a couple of public parks on the rivers in our area, great for fishing or walking the nature trails. "
  • Vkayres
"Good schools with great teachers! Too many “good old boys” making the important decisions in the community based on who knows who. "
  • Autumn m.
"all of my neighbors have dogs and seem to take good care of them. The dogs stay in their own yards for the most part but all seem friendly. I feel safe having my dog outside. the old wild animal seen mostly is deer and rabits"
  • Autumn m.
"I have lived here for five years and have fully enjoyed it. All of the homes are nice and yards well kept for the most part. Neighbors mostly keep themselves but are very friendly and helpful. Also, not every house is the same. So if you are looking for a house with charm, then you are in luck!"
  • beerking1
"Country living, but not too far from the city. 19 minutes to VRE. Situated halfway between Fredericksburg and the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren. Less than a 30 minute drive to either one. Sealston elementary school is 2 miles away. An outstanding school with very highly engaged, caring staff, and large classrooms. Sealston Park Athletic Complex is right next to the school."
  • sspencerseven
"I moved here Nov 2010 and love it.The people down here are are great, the beach is clean, and the restraunts provide good food and entertainment."
