This school is terrible. The say they take students with IDP. They take the money from the state and they do nothing with the student's.They let them fail .I am so sorry I put my grandson in that school.The teachers are terrible too.I recommend staying away from this failing school .

This school is absolutely the worst school I've ever had the displeasure of being associated with. The Principal is completely disconnected with the staff and students. He dismisses or ignores all complaints, the Deans have a personal relationship with some of the students outside of the school, meaning they go to the same church and know the parents, so they disbelieve ANY issues involving certain students. This school has an abysmal lack of communication with the parents and with themselves. The para PE teachers use pain compliance push up positions if the student doesn't dress out in three minutes, some teachers are on facebook during classtime and ignore the students, others teachers are constantly threatening the students with detention for the smallest infractions. This school seriously needs an entirely new staff that can actually teach and not run it as a prison or bootcamp. This school, for lack of better words, is the absolute worse I've ever seen and with out a PTO to check the staff from time to time, it will always be the same thing. The school board really needs to investigate what is going on in this school rather than giving them carte blance. Just saying.

This school has restored my faith in Hardee county schools. After having a terrible experience at another school over the course of two years and even having to transfer to another County School at one point to finish out the year, we got a waiver to attend North Wauchula Elementary. The teachers, the administration, the students have been fantastic. They are an AVID school and strive for excellence. I would definitely recommend this school. Having signed a waiver we have to drive 90 miles a day just to get our kids to and from school and do not have the option of even just driving them to the closest bus stop but that is not the schools fault and it is worth it.
