We will be renting our house for 12 mos. during a sabbatical year. Since our cat is indoor/outdoor, she will be keeping guard (lol) while we're away.
Our house has been updated to preserve the charm of its original 1928 character while providing a modern open floor plan, gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, custom built ins, projection home theater, and more throughout. Located on 0.2 acres, the backyard has a giant oak tree providing shade for grilling and relaxing.
One spot off-street parking under a carport with Level 2 EV charging. Plenty of street parking for additional vehicles.
Located near Hancock HEB and other retail, Hancock golf course, and bus lines on Duval and Red River.
Rent directly from owners who will be on sabbatical overseas from 7/1/24 through 6/30/25
House fully furnished with:
1) King size beds, a queen sized bed, and a crib
2) Everything you need for a 2 year old (baby proofing, toys, etc)
3) Home theater including 100" projection screen, surround sound, power recliners, all the streaming services, and a Blu-ray collection
4) Kitchen stocked with high end pots&pans to go with the Viking range, sparkling water faucet, and Meile dishwasher
5) Google Fiber internet with strong wifi throughout the house
6) Nest thermostat, Google Home speakers
All utilities included (as long as you keep the AC bill reasonable..)
Our friendly indoor/outdoor cat Ivy eats from her automatic feeder and goes to the bathroom outside, so she'll mostly just need some attention and the occasional water dish refill. Since the house comes with our cat, please only cat-friendly pets allowed.
Must care for our pet indoor/outdoor cat Ivy. All vet and food expenses will be paid by us. Only cat-friendly pets allowed.
One year lease with no option to renew (we'll be back).
Utilities included as long as AC use not unreasonable.
