"There are a lot of nice younger families , 25-30 or so, first time home owners and doing very well volunteering in the community and working together to keep the neighborhood safe and such a wonderful place to grow up in the South Side of Connellsville. So so many new and old opportunities for everyone to learn and enjoy this great little city. I’ve lived her for 37 years. Wonderful neighbors from all of the streets in the South Side. Everyone helps each other. "

"Nothing anything bad can happen at any time or place nowhere is safe tbh but it is a nice place has quite a few parks but theirs a lot of druggies in the ears so watch you kids because they could step or touch a heroine used needle any day any time "

"The city and county has gone down to rock bottom. Connellsville's down town was beautiful in the 50's through the 70's but now the downtown is empty, burned down and gone! The only Mall is closed and there are no factorys to employ anyone. Someone needs to try to reinvent this town and make it some plcae special. I'm so sad to to it in this shape. I know that its hard to do but I now live in Pittsburgh, for 35 years ,.and the city went to rock bottom to The most livable city in the USA.! I'm so proud of Pittsburgh and run a very successful business and real estate holding in the city. It takes a special team to make a city successful and maybe one day someone or team will see that Connellsville is a spical place to work and live. I would move back in a heartbeat if only someone could make it like it used to be! "
