My child attended all 6 years at Murphy. It was school of choice for us and we fought to keep her in Murphy even after moving. The staff, tho it changed over the years, was always wonderful and I never questioned whether we made the right choice with choosing Murphy as our child’s elementary school. Hands down, best elementary school in Lapeer.

"The Village of Metamora is a beautiful little Horse town and I say that with pride. The white horse and Metamora general and more make this little Quant town nostalgic with a comfy antique feel. Summer events make this town a forever home. With a live band every weekend and festivals! Truly a hidden gem. "

"Very small community without the big city rush. Feel like your on vacation every day. Hadley has a great Fourth of July celebration. Close to the cities but a step away from the hustle!!!!"

"My wife and I love Metamora. It is quite and beautiful. We feel like we are driving up north every time we come home. The neighbors are friendly and their proerties are well maintained. Many people have horses. It is also nice that we pay taxes in Lapeer County, but are only a mile from Oakland County. "
