About 15 mins in either direction to Volcano Town or Keaau with all the amenities you'd need and only 30 mins drive to the beautiful beach parks of Hilo or about 45 mins to the beaches of Puna. This is a great dried in "shell" for you to customize/finish as you please that sits on about 1/4 acre of fee simple land. There is no plumbing or power installed but solar power can easily be added, as well rain catchment, composting toilets and on demand propane hot showers are popular affordable options in the area for many "off grid" homes. There are no permits on the structure so cash only. DO NOT attempt to visit the property WITHOUT an APPT. with a realtor. The property is located on a private road with monitored access. My son had just graduated from this lovely school, in the two years he was there, for the 4th and 5th grades, he had two wonderful teachers who were his favorite teachers of all times, he learned new stuff fast, and he was making lots of friends as soon as he started school. There were many activities, events, and field trips that kept his active mind interested, and I especially love how many family events and award ceremonies the school held to make the ohanas feel welcomed! The principal remembered everyone's name and the teachers seemed happy to be there.I was surprised to see the rating for the school isn't so high, considering how many schools my kids have been to (due to moving) and this is both me and my son's favorite school!

"I moved here 2016 and I loved it. Neighbors are quiet except the other streets but neighbors across from my house and next door are so friendly. We say hello or with a smile. When we grill we share food to our neighbors. They watch my house and we watch theres too. Every holidays, we are the only queit neighbors & I love it. "
