    • Michael Staszak
"Dog owners would enjoy the pedestrian path that goes from New Buffalo to Sawyer. It is an easy walk and has plenty of places to stop along the way. The caution is to watch for ticks as there are many tree and roaming deer in the area."
    • Mark B.
"Great get a away from Chicago area. Wonderful community and beach. Enough things to do. Great farmers market. "
    • Steve
"I Love it here! An interesting blend of artists and folks from Chicago. Close to the beach and all access to all of the finer things."
    • Chet E.
"Relaxing just steps from the beach cannot be beat!"
    • Paul Z.
"Lakeside Michigan's north shore is where all the original lakefront estates were built in the late 1800s or early 1900. They chose this location because this is where you have the best views, best beaches, lowest bluffs, and still the largest parcels of undeveloped lakefront parcels in Harbor Country. Lakeside is also known for it's artist community and is centrally located in the heart of Harbor Country, a 15 mile stretch of Lake Michigan lakefront beach towns in the extreme southwest corner of Michigan. With it's close proximity to Chicago, about 1-1/2 hour, Lakeside has long been a favorite vacation home destination for affluent Chicagoans."
