  • Trulia User
"Nice place to grow kids great neighbor nature present all the time fresh air nice schools family ambient"
  • Trulia User
"We drive to where we want to go highway is murder in Summer months because of beach activities but commuting around the towns is easy there are shops on every corner!"
  • Trulia User
"My neighborhood is Holly Park. Very close to the water, I always see people myself included walking dogs. Less than a mile away on Butler Boulevard the township is building a small dog park. I have lived in Holly Park for 58 years and seen many changes from dirt roads and really rural to the area I now live in being full with houses. It is a quaint little community and I’m happy to live here."
  • Trulia User
"It’s a great place to raise kids especially if they are into outdoor sports and activities! There's a great sense of community here. "
  • Trulia User

  • Laura.symanski
"I drive my own vehicle and RT 9 can get a bit congested at certain times but it usually moves along pretty quick. "
  • Felecia
"Always long, traffic down Rt 9 is awful, it’s the only way in and out of Bayville. Be prepared to sit in 20-30 minutes of traffic to go less than 2 miles. "
  • Cherylanninc
"There is very limited public transportation. The bus to NYC is 2 towns away and doesn’t run all night."
  • Joel O.
"I've lived in here for six monthsk and it's a pretty friendly neighborhood quiet. and believe it or not I take the bus everyday to work to and from and it's pretty easy to get to if you just figure out it"
  • Scudiero
"Plenty of dogs in the area all very friendly. You meet the most interesting people as you’re walking your dog. "
  • KCP
"It’s a good neighborhood, aside from saying hello, most keep to themselves, in the past 6yrs we haven’t seen or been involved in any “drama.” It’s pretty low-key. "
  • Jacquelyn F.
"Route 9 takes me everywhere. I love it. It only takes me 12 minutes to get to work in Toms River. Most stores are on route 9 and easily accessible."
  • Amanda F.
"Quiet, large yards that give plenty of privacy without feeling like your on top of your neighbor even though you have them. Amazing schools!"
  • Rhidavidson7
"Anywhere north of Bayville is crowded and has bad traffic during morning and evening rush hours. Traffic in Bayville itself is usually minimal. "
  • Nubin2
"Family neighborhood but peaceful. Close to everything, shopping, restaurants and not too close to the bay."
  • Nancy D.
"We are close to many beaches, but far enough to escape the hectic traffic of Seaside. Also, we get to visit many beaches and parks all year round, which is great, especially when the tourists go home."
  • Jim H.
"summer concert series in town. beach bashes. car shows at the park, a lot of community organizations to be involved in. "
  • Scudiero

Shopping only minutes away, easy access to GSP, buses, and walk to shops. Friendly neighborhood, Atlantic city 45 min.'s south, even NYC just over 1hr. 15min..... beautiful beaches, Excellent fishing..definately will stay busy in this area or walk along quiet bays or beaches. Dog friendly also."
  • b p.
"If you like the feel of a rural area, but are close enough to shopping, theaters, restaurants and only a short drive to NYC and Philadelphia, and don't forget the beaches, then Bayville may be the town for you. It is very safe and affordable. I moved here 13 years ago and never looked back."
