4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible school. Student body is out of control, many fights happen throughout the year. Lots of bullying and discrimination from students and teachers. The homework and workload is not too bad. Instead of helping students who are facing bullying the school punishes students who speak out or attempt to defend themselves against continuos bullying and abuse. There are few teachers who are supportive and care for students.Student Review4mo ago8 Reviews - Belmonte Saugus Middle School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Veterans Memorial Elementary School (fondly referred to as The VETS) is a Pre-K through 1st grade elementary school here in Saugus. I am a parent with a daughter who graduated from here, and a son currently enrolled. This school is truly the best! The staff here, including the principal and leadership, are phenomenal. It is clear to see that the teachers care about their students. We have had a very positive experience here at The Vets and highly recommend it to anyone.Parent Review1y ago6 Reviews - Belmonte STEAM Academy

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am absolutely thrilled with my children's experience at the STEAM Academy! From the moment I walked through the doors, it was clear that this is a place where students are genuinely cared for and set up for success. The faculty is outstanding—passionate, approachable, and incredibly knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to ensure that every student not only understands the material but also feels inspired to grow and achieve their best. The curriculum is both challenging and engaging, offering a perfect balance of academic rigor and creative exploration. The diverse range of extracurricular activities allows students to pursue their interests and talents beyond the classroom, whether it’s sports, arts, or community service. It’s also clear that the Belmonte places a strong emphasis on developing well-rounded individuals who are not only academically competent but also socially responsible and compassionate. What really stands out to me, however, is the sense of community. The school fosters an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and supported, regardless of their background or interests. The relationships between students, teachers, and staff are strong, and there’s a true sense of collaboration. It's the kind of school where students are not just a number—they are valued individuals. The facilities are top-notch, with modern classrooms, a well-equipped library, and state-of-the-art technology. The school’s commitment to continuous improvement is evident in every corner, from the green spaces outside to the innovative resources available for students to explore and learn.I wholeheartedly recommend Belmonte STEAM Academy to any parent or student looking for an exceptional educational experience. It’s a school that truly goes the extra mile to nurture young minds and prepare them for a bright and successful future!Parent Review1y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near 7 Eustis St #C.

"I’ve lived here a little over 3 years now, I love that it’s a dog friendly neighborhood, trails nearby, public library has lots of things happening, and that it’s not too far away from the city and nearby restaurants, grocery stores and more!"

"It’s safe but like any neighborhood these days, keep your eye out. There are sketchy people in every neighborhood. Also, the school system is trash here so if you have middle school high school aged children look elsewhere."

"Nothing much special. The town has changed since I was young. No one comes out to talk anymore. People moving in have escaped cities, but have not embraced small town living. Every house has floodlights to ward off strangers.."

"I grew up here as a child, moved away when I was 12, then recently moved back 3 years ago. Mixed neighbors, some friendly, some loud and not so friendly. Close to Boston and stores."

"There are no community events. Saugus should focus on local events, instead of more housing and retail. "

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 6 years and each year I see it becoming more and more family oriented. I have raised my four children here 2 that are now in high school who have gone through middle school and grade school in this town. And two that are now about to start school. we go to so many Town activities and my kids look forward to every event. they have amazing things for all ages and make every family feel like if they belong here. I feel extremely safe and happy in this community."
