"Lots of dogs. People generally keep them on leashes. Some people do not clean up after their dogs. It’s generally dog friendly. "
  • Trulia User
"This is my vacation home, I live and work full time elsewhere. Thus, I do not commute. I do bring my laptop computer and I am able to work from the island in my kitchen which is very pleasant and relaxing. "

"Always dogs walking around with their owners! Most people are very friendly and courteous. We do have a lot of people who are visiting who are not as mindful about picking up after their dogs. "
  • Davidsmcwilliam
"Free public music events in the park and on the beach. Fire pit Friday on the beach! The beach, bay and the quality of the care for all of the homes in the area. We live the Dream in Brighton Beach. "

  • chipski
"The safest, most friendly part of Long Beach Island."
  • tanntallon
    "Safe, friendly, community. "
  • Donna D.
"There has been an increase in the primary home owners on LBI . During the Winter you may have less businesses open but don't let that stop you from enjoying some quiet time in the neighborhood. You will find the locals at Daddy'Os and even on the beach . Great place to be for families and retirees."
  • Nathan C.
"LBI in general and Brant Beach where this house is located are clean, safe and great areas to live and play. Brant Beach is one of the more narrow sections on LBI so it is a short walk to the beach and its location in the center of LBI makes it easy to get on and off LBI. There are many stores, restaurants and things to do (like mini-golf) in Ship Bottom which is just a few blocks away."
