"Every summer downtown they shut the streets and have what they call the taste of Clarkston. The local restaurants sell bite size treats of the food they cook. You buy tickets and each item takes different amounts of them. Thousands show up for the two day event!!"

"Most dog owners are very responsible with their puppies! Some are not and do not pick up after them. There are some dogs that are a violation of the breed restrictions here."

"We have awesome views, lots of very old trees, friendly neighbors, most homes have 1 acre lots, homes are all kept up well with professional landscaping and no sidewalks. The pond in the neighborhood is more of a nature preserve and all the common areas which can’t be built on, all add to the ambience of this community. "

"I live in Clarkston and it is a 20-45 minute drive to Troy depending on construction and traffic. 60 minutes to DTW."

"My neighborhood is wonderful and a great commute to other suburbs such as Auburn Hills, Troy, Birmingham, Royal Oak, Shelby Township. The I-75 commute to downtown Detroit is a smooth ride with small hiccups when there’s construction to enhance the roads. "

"Close to downtown Clarkston, close to the expressway and close to DTE Energy Music Theater. Supportive community and highly regarded schools. Many events that bring the community together, concerts in the park in the summer, Tastefest in the fall, and parades several times a year. "
