"It’s lower income and not everyone can clean up their yards. There are several small businesses sprinkled around the neighborhood. We’ve been here five years and it’s been pretty peaceful."
  • Veronikajoleedunbar
"Just visited the area. I would like visit again in the near future. Thank you. Have a great day!!!!!"
  • Hkunz93308
"There’s a huge “hotrod” crowd, not just the ones in the magazine, but cars that people have kept alive by the residents. Mild climate relative to Phoenix and Denver."
  • Anitalynriggins
"A lot of people walk their dogs, kids ride their bikes, and it’s been a pretty safe neighborhood. There are a lot of dogs that bark all night"
  • Anitalynriggins
"People walk their dogs all the time here, I do actually see kids riding their bikes and playing, or selling lemonade on the corner"
  • Joni Sharp
"Very quite safe area, we all watch out of each other. Been here over 6 years and have the best neighbors ever. "
  • Trulia User
"my neighborhood is well maintained. there are stores nearby and good job opportunities. also there are sports available for children."
  • Cynthia T.
"I lived out of city limits for 6 years. Kingman was once a little town with Stockton Hill Road once being two lanes and all dirt. In coming back now after a 3 year absence, I can't say I am much impressed. The drug problem is still widespread, Birdland looks worse than ever, and houses are being built as fast and as close together as possible. But where are good paying jobs? Where are cultural experiences? Where is diversity? Where is industry and city planning? Kingman has potential, but the sudden influx of those fleeing California shows the town is growing out, not up. Kingman needs long range goals to retain its new residents and attract others. I hope the next time I visit for a sustained period of time that I feel better about this town. "
  • Edie I.
