My son goes to Price-Harris as magnet students. We are very pleased with the school, the staff, the teachers and the leadership. They communicate well and I believe this school is one, if not the best, USD259 option.

The school does a good job of doing what they can with the resources available and the level of parent involvement. There is very little parent involvement at this school. Parent-teacher conferences bring around 15-20% of the parents (and its often the parents you don't need to talk to), yet sport events bring well over 50% of the parents. It really shows where priorities are for parents. Teachers getting yelled at and cussed out by parents is part of the school culture and is expected by teachers. I still recommend this school to parents, but just know your student is going to see students that are used to being right all the time (even when they're wrong). It's a great school for students that want to learn. It's an AVID National Demonstration School! That is a rare honor.

It's a safe school, they do not tolerate fighting or bullying which I love. They also have great teachers and a very good staff.
