5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe current principal lacks experience in the most basic nuances of modern high school education. His middle school background is evident, as he's prone to gossip, pedantry, and forcing the staff to play along with embarrassing "shout outs" during staff meetings to his favorite (compliant) cohorts. His teacher evaluations are egregiously arbitrarily, depending on whether he favors your or not; there's no professional separation. The blatant favoritism is very off-putting to many instructors (especially the English dept), because the department chair (nontenured 2nd year teacher) is also from a middle school background. It's the middle school, immature mindset that has caused many vacancies in the English dept, not to mention the surreptitiously "woke " mindset. The woke politics seem to permeate every decision, and this doesn't suit all students. There are some wonderful and talented instructors at the facility, but the new leadership is a hindrance to the students' education. The administration acts as if they are in middle-school, and all the nonsense that goes along with it.
