4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is currently attending Bryan High School and we couldn't be more pleased. He has been so fortunate to have access to amazing teachers and courses (AP and International Baccalaureate) as well as the regional Career and Technical Education Center with an industrial engineering program that has been designed with Texas A&M University. The Cross Country team is also a fantastic peer group for him and he is thriving. Thank you Bryan High School!Parent Review3y ago9 Reviews - Alton Bowen Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child had a wonderful experience at Bowen Elementary. We moved to Bryan ISD from another high performing school district in Texas. My child thrived academically at Bowen elementary, excelling beyond our expectations, and became much more engaged in learning and personal academic achievement. The faculty and staff cares about their students, and creates a warm and welcoming environment for the elementary school. I highly recommend Bowen Elementary!Parent Review1y ago6 Reviews - Sam Rayburn Intermediate School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had two children at Sam Rayburn during a period of two years. Both had special needs and were in special education and/or team-taught classes, but also some regular classes. We found the teaching to be excellent and the administrators concerned and approachable. As in most middle schools, children need to be instructed by parents on selecting good, safe, peer groups. Our kids were involved in electives and extracurricular activities and chose good peers. They had a wonderful time there and made excellent progress.Parent Review15y ago1 Reviews - Stephen F Austin Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur two children had an outstanding experience at SFA. They were challenged immensely academically, and enjoyed the experience of a variety of extra-curricular activities, both in athletics and fine arts. The teaching staff is passionate, and offered opportunities to gain tutoring outside of the classroom. We did not have any negative experiences on this campus, and are excited for our third child to attend as a 7th grader in 2022-2023.Parent Review3y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 6830 Elmo Weedon Rd.

"Open fence to a major road, and lots of passing traffic thinking the cul-de-sac goes through. However we are right beside Wolf Pen Creek Park, which is great for dog walking. Lots of people have very friendly and passive dogs in the neighborhood. "

"There are walking trails all throughout the neighborhood. The streets are well lit, the wooded trail does not have lights, but it’s still a nice area to explore. "

"I’m not sure what dog owners would like or dislike about living in College Station. I will say this; even though it’s with in close proximity to Houston, it is way more laid back and peaceful even though it’s a college town."

"There are sidewalks throughout including a semi wooded but paved trail and a pond. The neighborhood is close enough to shopping, but it’s still a nice and secluded area"

"There’s a lot of grass and parks in the area. Most of the dogs are always on leashes. Plus it’s near the police station. There are plenty of places to get pet supplies. "

"Texas Aggie football and other sporting events. Lincoln recreation center Boys and Girls club. which I grew up there and the experience has been unforgettable. awesome childhood in this nice neighborhood. also there is a CC Creations warehouse with several nice things that can be purchased from the warehouse itself. Big plus for any sports fan. Bus routes are available for transportation to the many sporting events. A&M Consoladated around the corner providing another opportunity to enjoy many sporting events like football and basketball. "

"The neighborhood isn’t very quite but it feels very safe. Although many streets do not have sidewalks & cars parked on the road very often, it still feels very open if you pay attention. "
