"Great parks and schools nearby. Shopping and healthcare nearby. Parma has nearly everything you need!"
  • Linda M Arbogast
"I live on a very busy main road - super busy and at times scary as drivers speed up and down. The streets are lot. Emergency vehicles use this Main Street a lot so it’s never 100% quiet. Lots of street lights and cars drive on it 24/7. Not safe when you have small kids or small animals. Bus services are easy access. "
  • Linda M Arbogast
"My neighborhood is a busy place but safe. Public transportation is always available and passes my house regularly. "
  • Buddym
"nice area/suburban neighborhood. clean very friendly and well lit. many restaurants and fast food chains. plenty bars as well."
  • Mstrotter
"Lack of diversity. Not enough park like settings that are kid friendly. Great for families, just be sure to have entertainment for your kiddos on your own space."
  • Mena B.
"Friendly community and helpful community. It’s been nice to live here and purchase another house in the near future "
  • Lisa E.

  • Justin A.
"I have lived in the area for a few years. I typically feel safe and secure. The noise comes from me living on a Main Street. It’s close to everything and a nice little area. "

"I grew up in Parma. It’s a nice place to have a family. Quiet. Peaceful. Small homes, small lots. Good for people just starting out or those who are retiring and plan to be empty nesters. Lots of great pizza options. Tons of bowling alleys to choose from. It’s Swenson’s adjacent. How am I not at 100 characters yet? "
  • Jinnelle L.
"It's a good environment for them I have a dog and he loves going for walks around Parma. Every where I go I see owner's with dogs. they should love it living here is good they would not like the apartments for them "
  • Diana K.
"I LIVE NEAR Veterans Park, which is beautiful, and well maintained. People can go fishing, enjoy many picnic areas, baseball fields, batting cage, exercise trail, minigold and disc golf throughout a wooded area. Police are often seen in the park areas and throughout the city. Not far, is another park, on West Ridgewood Drive. It is a Metroparks Trail throughout wooded areas as well as a shop to stop in and admire educational facts about our habitat. "
  • Tricia Lee
"Very dog friendly neighborhood n the neighbors all seem to genuinely look out for each other’s pets and treat their own pets very well as far as I can tell."
  • Thomas C.
"Many dogs are walked throughout the day along well maintained sidewalks as well as the watershed park down the street."
  • SandyB
"Dogs and owners are friendly and respectful of each other. Makes it easy to meet people. Everyone loves dogs and look out for each other. "
  • Grace S.
"the roads are kinda bumpy n the speed limits are too slow. traffic does get kind of heavy so i suggest if u cant turn right to leave. dont go there. "
  • Kristen Y.
"The kids can walk around with each other and be fine. It’s like it was for me growing up in Garfield hts, before it changed. I love there’s parks for me to walk the dogs in scattered all over the city."
  • Belinda B.
"I’ve lived here for four and half years. The neighbors look out for the safety of our children and the neighborhood itself is safe. We live close to a school and park. There is little reason to leave the city, except for my commute to work."
  • Dallas71
"I lived in this area my whole life, and now am a single female homeowner and always feel safe. Yards are well maintained and there is lots of local shops and restaurants"
  • Dmghunt
"I work in Cleveland Hts. so my commute is not great, but that’s Cleveland Hts.’ fault. :) However, easy access to highways and wide main streets make Parma convenient to downtown, Independence, even the far west or east sides. "
  • Anthony C.
"The neighborhood is very nice. All the neighbors keep up the their yards. A lot of neighbors decorated for the holidays."
  • Nick B
"There are Neighborhood movie nights and many festivals in the summer time. Plus an annual rib cook off. great place to just walk around wether it be for a weekend bar hop or a walk through a park ending at a ice cream shop."

  • Cjennin7
