6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school mistakes punishment for discipline and control for care.I watched capable students deteriorate after being mislabeled, publicly searched, embarrassed, and blamed instead of supported. I entered as a high-performing student and left feeling broken, unheard, and mistrusted. Seeking help only resulted in increased scrutiny and harsher treatment.Staff are overwhelmed and unprepared, and it shows. Rather than de-escalation or understanding, students are met with passive aggression, gossip, and selective enforcement of rules. The result is an environment that retraumatizes students while pretending to rehabilitate them. This school does not fix problems it creates them.Other Review5mo ago24 Reviews - Twin Lakes Academy Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGot bullied in 6th grade by a group of girls and they put me in the same room as them with the former assistant principal to make us "talk it out", thinking that'll work. Afterwards, The bullying escalated in many ways until 8th grade when I moved to another school. Never spoke up about it because I felt I'd be not taken seriously and invalidated, or how I've been treated didn't pass as 'real' bullying. My mental health became much worse since then, and no matter how much I think I've healed from this situation, I'll always feel like I'm a burden in my friendships or everyone is out to get and hurt me. This wasn't just 'drama' between teenage girls, it's a systematic failure by the people who were supposed to protect me. During my school days there, I've seen kids getting specifically targeted in classrooms and the teachers seem completely apathetic or act like nothing's happening, leaving the victim to fend for themselves in an environment that's supposed to make them feel welcome.. I'm speaking up because I've seen a pattern. Not only was my situation handled ineffectively,, I've also noticed that neurodivergent students are being bullied while the teachers remain indifferent. A school cannot claim to be inclusive while it's most bullied students are being bullied without any intervention. For parents who want to enroll their children into this school, be aware that their 'conflict resolution' and bullying policy is ineffective and the staff's indifference towards bullying is a serious safety concern. Nobody should feel like they're a burden or easy target. Nobody should feel the way I did.Other Review1mo ago32 Reviews - Bartram Springs Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIts really heart breaking that as a parent my concerns abt my child's learning was brushed off as if it wasnt an issue. The excuse that the student is able to retake a test to get a better grade is not appropriate if the student isnt understanding the basics. At one point my child was talking to a school appointed therapist, went no where at least one session had another student .. this is something I would assume would be private.Parent Review8mo ago19 Reviews - Check out schools near 6743 Arching Branch Cir.

"We live in a cul-de-sac where our neighbors are all friends with us. We do fire pits when it is cold enough. Enjoy each others company. Watch our kids grow up together. "

"Very neighborly but everyone minds their own business at the same time. Lots of kids playing. It is a high air traffic area. Pretty much everything is within a 15 minute drive "
