So sad that the culture of this building has been destroyed in less than 2 years since Mr. Juan Moreno was promoted and they hired Mr. David Corey. So many families, students, and teachers have been run off from this (now) toxic environment. They can't keep staff and it's just a revolving door of people. It used to feel like a family, but with the changes all it's done is destroyed the community that other principals/staff/families worked so hard to build. This school has lost so many good teachers and students over the past 2 years.

East Ridge Middle School is the absolute worst school to send a kid to. The school has a range of problems ranging from bullying, harassment, kids smoking, vaping, kids being touched inappropriately by staff members, kids touching each other inappropriately and the only thing they seem to worry about is the DRESSCODE! They have some of the LOWEST test scores in Hamilton County, every team sport they have is a COMPLETE EMBARRASSMENT and can barely score a point in anything. I DO NOT recommend this school for any child or parent who is serious about there education.
