3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a terrible place. I had my daughter go here for her 7 grade year and she would come home all bruised and scratched. She always said that when he got bullied and told the teachers all they did was make him sign a paper and that was it. My daughter almost lulled herself and said that the school made her feel more horrible than she already did. And when she talked to the counselors they made a big deal and checked her bag. She told me that the PE teachers were both mean. She said they made her cry by calling her useless. She also told me they still made her run even though many kids fell and hurt themselves.Parent Review1y ago - Bakersfield High School

My eldest daughter graduated last year and had an amazing experience getting involved in clubs and academics along with making lasting friendships. A plethora of clubs are offered along with many other classes, such as ceramics, fashion, home economics, and wood/metal shop. The gate/honors program is incredible with caring/committed teachers. We love BHS! It's the best in Bakersfield.Parent Review6y ago
