The best part of this property is the sense of space, calm, and connection to nature. Set on a gated 2-acre rural property, the grounds offer a peaceful place to unwind after long workdays.

Guests have access to a pool and Jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing in the evenings, as well as walking paths and a labyrinth that many guests enjoy as a quiet place for reflection or gentle movement. The property was previously used as a yoga and retreat center, and it retains a naturally restorative atmosphere.

There are 38 fruit trees throughout the property, and guests are welcome to enjoy seasonal fruit when available, along with fresh eggs from our chickens. A friendly dog also lives on the property and is part of the relaxed, country setting.

This is a rural environment, and natural sounds are part of daily life. We do have chickens and a rooster, which can be heard in the mornings. Earplugs are provided, and many guests find they adjust quickly and come to appreciate the authenticity of the setting.

Overall, the property is ideal for guests who value quiet evenings, outdoor space, and a peaceful, nature-based environment.

Fully furnished studio. All utilities are included. Renter to provide their own media service (Netflix, Prime, etc). If "excessive" electricity or water use is noticed based on past year's utility records and costs, tenent is responsible for the additional cost each month.

This is a month to month rental. The studio is attached to the main house but has its own entrance.

    "The elementary and middle schools both have no sidewalks to walk to and from, even though they are only a few blocks from our home. They are highway roads. Also there are no school buses out here either. So unless you plan to drop your child off and pick them up daily, this isn’t an ideal location. "

    "Bonsall is on of the last remaining hidden jewels of San Diego county. Here, you enjoy the bucolic semi-rural living while yet being 15 minutes away from the stuff you want and need. This little community of 4,000 is neatly tucked into in valley 180 feet above sea level bisected by the San Luis Rey river (dry 8 months of the year) and encased by hills dotted with oak and blanketed with chaparral. In exchange for the inconvenience of being 51 miles from downtown San Diego, you will not only be rewarded with gorgeous views every day you look out the window and drive the smooth curvy country roads, but also get one of the top school districts in the area. The high school is on the tech cutting edge with small class sizes and high quality educators. By comparison, living in a similar level school district in the San Diego area will cost you at least another $300,000 on the price of your home. I had never heard of this little town when I was looking for my home, but one visit, my first, I was hooked and knew I had to live here... never look back never regretted it for a minute. Better hurry before everybody else finds out about this little Paradise! 🙂"

Breathtaking sunsets every night. Moderate temps and ocean breeze every afternoon make this area "California perfect" where AC is needed only a few days per year. Plenty of privacy, too. "
