4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur son currently attends 6th grade and he loves it. He is an honor roll student and has done great thus far. The teachers communicate effectively with our family and the principal is always striving to make sure the school is safe. There are some troubled students of course like anywhere else but I blame their parents for their bad behavior and not the staff. We are very involved with our children’s assignments and email back and forth as needed with the teachers. The front office is not the best, they can be rude and don’t answers our questions. The teachers would single certain kids out, and they would hold certain kids back from certain activities if the teacher didn't like what the kid had done, not having anything to do with the teacher. I just found it ridiculous. Aside from that, the sheer amount of homework was absurd for elementary school. I would have to work on homework for 5-6 hours a night, simply due to the large amount. Not to mention if I had a project to do, that would add many more hours to my homework load.Other Review5y ago
