"Every Halloween we get together for pizza before everyone heads out to trick or treat. We celebrate birthdays and retirements and support those who grieve losses be it pets or people"
  • Brittney Cole
"3 minutes to my kids school. 10 to my husbands work. 20 to downtown GR. 12 to get to my work. Never much of an issue "
  • Trulia User

  • Jeremy B.
"Great town and lots of things to do and nice houses with good values. Schools are also great. Close to Grand Rapids and Lake Michigan."

"Wish there were side walks, but overall this area is dog friendly and the dog park is not far away. "
  • Dan K.

  • Steveingr
"Nice to be so close to Hagar Park! Nice neighborhood and great schools! Involved parents and engaged teachers make it work!"
  • tmj
"The neighbors are friendly. Jenison schools are awesome. It’s a great place to raise a family. People walk, bike, run in the neighborhood. There are no sidewalks on our street, though."
  • Mindy T.
"The construction is absolutely ridiculous. I have to drive more than 10 miles out of my way every single day, just to get around it. It takes time out of my day when I drive to and from work 7 days a week, and eats up my gas as well. The construction worker strike is only making it worse. The project was supposed to be finished over a month ago."
  • Denny k.
"You see people walking their dogs around, only downfall is that there are no sidewalks on side streets "
  • Tim
"Incredible school system. Safe neighborhoods with numerous parks. Little league is a great community organization. Many quality church organizations."
  • Reneedonselar
"I drive independently. There is a bus route not too far, but I do not utilize it. Traffic can be tricky during construction, but not a stand still by any means. "
  • Willardk1
"Communuty wide Pink Out event. Everyone comes together- community members, all schools, private donate, families- to raise awareness "
  • Reneedonselar
"Rosewood concerts in the park, Georgetown library events, and block party. Friendly neighbors and respectful Children. "
  • Tim
"Dogs are welcome almost everywhere; roads, parks, many stores. There is a great dog park that even offers areas for various sized dogs."
  • Marcia K.
