"The most beautiful peaceful place in this huge world. Just imagine what the new heaven and the new world will be like. I can’t wait !!!!merry Christmas "
  • Kimerer
"It’s home. 9th generation Banks family member. Heritage is everything to small towns and the community as well. You never know a stranger. Somebody is always connected to somebody. Plus it just special. The town square is the heart of the town and it’s papable. Children can be children here. No race to grow up too soon."
  • Lisa L. G.
"They would like it. Traffic is not to bad. If your dog should get loose, people stop and help. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood."
  • Amie W.
"it's a safe neighborhood, and I like how friendly people are. most of my family members live here and we all love the mountains."
  • Gracie L.
"We live in the mountains, dogs love it here. Lots of places to walk. Asheville and the surrounding towns ,Weaverville, Burnsville and Blowing Rock are very dog friendly."
  • Merrilyna
"I’m just visiting the area at a Airbnb. It is been a wonderful place to stay. I would recommend the area to anyone."
  • Elizabeth.p.mcintosh
"It is a safe place to raise kids, about like any other small town in the South. there is not much work here and low wages. "
  • lnbc
"Most residents seem to commute to other towns for employment but for those who work in town as well as those headed to other destinations, the drive is straightforward and stress-free. Slower portions of commute due to construction on 19E (if headed east) will improve with time as the highway widening project nears completion."
  • Gal f.
"My neighborhood backs up right against a holler which includes a broken down school bus, several trailers, some with fallen-in roofs, and Bills on the Hill. There is a trailer that advertises portrait studio services available inside and also a really handy location for Jehovah's Witness worship program. You can walk to work at the factory and it's not too far to the transfer station for dumping trash or recycling. Sometimes there are deer and lots of times we catch our neighbor's chickens for a bit just to mess with them"

"Have lived here 15 years Great season changes, quiet area , no traffic. "
