This is a very quite neighborhood. Most the kids are grown and in college or moved elsewhere. The neighbors are very friendly and will sometimes cut your grass for you. They have built a new recreation park (Deshong Park) less than two miles away. If you find yourself getting hungry late at night, there is an all nite McDonald's less than a mile away. There are gas stations, grocery stores, pharmacies, and daycare facilities within walking distance. If you have a taste for Caribbean cuisine or just some down home southern cooking - there are four restaurants nearby as well. They have paved and painted the major roads in the area within the last year.
