I Love Desert Garden School.... I have 3 children and 2 have gone through K-6 grade there and 1 is still attending this school . The teachers and staff are great, friendly,helpfull. We couldn't ask for a better principal, she is the best . Very approachable and helpful she knows all her kids by name and most of us parents too.. Also being an alumni myself I feel good knowing my child is safe and likes going to school.

"It's a somewhat older area in terms of residents, but pretty safe nonetheless. A little dark at night because there aren't enough lamp posts, but it's still fine at night for a walk. "

"Regardless of how safe the neighborhood is generally, it is better to always keep doors locked, both house and car. People from outside the neighborhood like to come and walk around in the middle of the night in the hopes that car doors are unlocked and this is happened a number of times throughout the years. "
