I go to BCHS and it is mismanaged and underperforming. The building is cramped and full of hazards with holes in ceilings, bats in the gym, and bathrooms that are broken, shut down, or have no stall locks. Hallways are overcrowded and five minutes is the max time to get to the nurse, counselor, or bathroom. The cafeteria is unsafe with moldy fruit and spoiled milk. Teachers are often rude, childish, and abusive of power with favoritism toward athletes and girls while administration does nothing. Rules are arbitrary and oppressive with no hugging, no headphones, and strict bathroom limits. Academically only 37 percent are proficient in reading, 41 percent in math, and AP enrollment is six percent. Fire alarms go off from vaping incidents, sometimes in dangerous weather, yet the school acts as if nothing is wrong. I have to survive in a toxic, unsafe, and demoralizing environment. Anyone considering this school should know it is unsafe, overcrowded and unfit to provide a proper education

It’s alright but there are some issues

My kids are constantly bullied and the new principal who started back in 2023 her kids go there and are also bullies and she hides everything. Today on October 24th 2024 my daughter was held down from a male student and punched her on bus. The principal didn't suspend him nor contacted her father or myself. She sweeps everything under the rug and hides all the things that's happening to the students. Bans parents from school who's kids are being bullied and getting jumped on.
