8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you have a child with special needs, do not send them to this district. Staff by their own admission is not trained with special needs. The special education department bullies parents in the IEP meetings and pressures parents towards as much autistic support as possible. They administer unfair psychological testing that is sure to support their argument that kids with autism need to be segregated from the general student population. They rely on pressure and manipulation to avoid inclusion. Parents are left with the choice of giving in or pulling their child out to home school. Despite their PR about anti-bullying, my typical child was beaten up by several other children. I've observed the discipline system which I would describe as punitive with very little positive reinforcement. My friends and neighbors who can afford it all send their typical kids to private schools.
