Middle school teachers say that the kids coming out of AME are much better prepared and ahead of many of the students from other elementary schools. The teachers are absolutely fabulous and care about their students. The PTO steps up and raises a lot of money to offset what the school doesn't receive from the county. This kids should’ve been showered with the same amount of love and appreciation if anything MORE because they WASNT SUPPOSED TO MAKE IT AND STILL DID DESPITE ALL THE ODDS . 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe overall environment at KMA was very negative for me. Many students—and even some teachers—were rude and disrespectful. I was bullied constantly in 6th grade last year, and nothing meaningful was done to stop it. Thankfully, I was able to transfer schools this year because the bullying became too much to handle.Teachers often gave out referrals without clear or fair explanations, and their reasoning didn’t always make sense. It felt like they didn’t take the time to understand situations properly. The school is made to sound nice, friendly, and well-run, but from my experience, that’s far from the truth.
