There was a student with an unloaded gun on campus last year and they didn’t tell anyone until the next day. There was also a bullet shell in one of the locker rooms and I was the one that had to tell my daughter about 4 hours after school ended. I wish they’d care more about student safety.

I, as a student of norris middle, have had an amazing experience at norris, there’s many hands on projects between classes, and the teachers here actually make an effort to make lessons enjoyable, I couldn’t have had a better experience in middle school, I haven’t had this much fun in years, now that schools ended I already feel the urge to return. Making friends their seems difficult at first but couldn’t be easier, i myself being someone who a lot of people know, but not necessarily popular found making new friends easy, as well as fitting into a clique of people. As every middle school should, they Don’t baby you through everything they put in the maximum effort into teaching students responsibility. In conclusion, for any parent wondering if they should enroll their child in this school, i recommend, from the variety of people, activities, classes, and overall acceptance this school is a 10/10.

We have transferred our kids from our home district to Veterans. Norris District and Veterans have a better program overall. Our oldest is in second grade and he is thriving. He gets excited about learning and getting involved. The teachers and principal seem to really care about the community as well.
