Great place. My son was entering his second pre k in one year and his transition into North Street was smooth and effortless. The teachers are welcome and intelligent and found the perfect way to make my son feel safe. Total 180 in his attitude about going to school. His first pre k he never settled in, in the two months he was there. Every morning at drop off he would cry and beg me not to leave him. But at North he was acclimated by the end of his orientation meeting. Walked right off the bus a happy kid day one. I also enjoy the high level of communication i have with his teachers. I get notes home and reports on his behavior regularly. After i had my second child they let me have ppt meetings over the phone for a while too.

I've been to 3 highschools in my life, this was overall the most drug influenced, unsupportive, and destructive schools I've ever been to, full stop. Bullying, peer pressure to engage in dangerous behavior (drugs, violence,) and passive aggressive comments as soon as you walk in for class from the principal and vice principal made days very difficult to get through. The grading system is too complex, as it cannot be done by hand, and it doesn't show improvements made by students easily, leaving them discouraged. It follows a .5 scale, for context, and as I mentioned before, you cannot find out your own grade by hand, which is an important skill for college. Something needs to change, because it's very clear that there have been people who have really cared about this school and ALL of it's students. It doesn't seem like that care and attention is a thought here now.

As a kid from this school I would not come here because the teaching is bad the school don’t care what you do a lot of kids skip class girls doing TikTok’s in bathroom and they stink boys and girls and some fights there they don’t even punish the kids
